October 2nd,
Closing speaker - Joe the Magician

Joe YoungJoseph Young is a multi-award winning entertainer who is quickly emerging as one of the most sought after performers in the nation. Hundred of events have been impacted by his special blend of sleight of hand, clean comedy, and hilarious audience participation. Some of his career highlights include winning the prestigious Magi-Fest First Place Gold Medal of Magic and being honored as the Houdini Rising Star of Magic for his original Rubik's Cube Manipulation Act. Whether performing on stage or strolling table-to-table at a corporate reception, Young's outstanding performances weave his distinctive energy, intellect, comedic timing and drama to ensure a personalized, unforgettable event.

The Big Stone Gap, Virginia resident began performing professionally in 1996. Early on, he incorporated the Rubik's Cube puzzle as one of many items subject to his sleight-of-hand. The trick is to take a cube with scrambled colors and see how fast you can twist and turn the squares until the colors become uniform. Joseph's Rubik Cube Act is much more that a trick, it is an entire nine minute manipulation act where Rubik's Cube disappears, appear, change sizes, and even changes a Rubik's Cube into a live rabbit in the blink of an eye. Do not miss a chance to see him!
