Inquiry is a referred journal that encourages writing from community college personnel. The journal is published once a year by the Virginia Community College System and the Virginia Community Colleges Association.

Papers should be prepared according to The MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers, 7th edition, or the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 6th edition.

Manuscripts should not exceed 6,000 words.
