Barbara Moore, 2000-2001 Parliamentarian, reviewed the rules and procedures for the Assembly of Delegates. One amendment was presented to the Assembly for consideration:

At the 2000 Convention, the Institutional Advancement Commission was recommended for omission.  However, we had a volunteer to be the chair of the Commission and keep it active.  Since the convention, however, there have not been any meetings or interest in the Commission.

The Executive Committee suggests the following change to 6.4 Commission and 6.4.3 Commission Membership and Officers.

·        Omit Institutional Advancement Commission

A motion was made and seconded to accept the proposed amendment.  Motion carried.

The floor was open to any further business.

George Hoffman (LFCC) asked everyone to encourage membership for faculty, staff and administrators in VCCA.  A discussion on the mission of the VCCA followed, and everyone was asked to make sure they are aware of the mission and to convey that to their respective schools.

The meeting was adjourned at 11 a.m.
